Day One : Arrival in Madrid followed by a leisurely city highlights tour. Accommodations: Hotel AC Palacio del Retiro, a restored early 19th-century palace with a modern décor near the Prado and adjacent to the magnificent Retiro Park
Day Two : Guided tours of the Prado and the Palacio Real, as well as a walking tour of old Madrid, followed by an Introduction to Spanish Wine at a special tasting event. Accommodations: Hotel AC Palacio del Retiro
Day Three : Full-Day private guided excursion to Ribera del Duero, including private visits and tastings at both a family-run and a large bodega in this hotbed region of tantalizing tempranillos. Day Four : Morning first-class rail transportation (two-and-a-half hours) to Seville via the AVE high speed train.
